“From my initial phone contact with Richardson’s through Gary their Sales Manager I realised this supplier was going to be the right one. Catalogues were couriered out to us immediately and an appointment was made for me and a colleague to visit the manufacturer. Steve Richardson, the Managing Director, personally took us to the factory so that we could understand the product quality we were buying and what the possibilities and full choices were. We talked through our vision for the building and floor plans so that Steve could advise us on what would work and what not. Having made our final choice Richardson’s submitted their tender alongside 3 other suppliers. There were many factors that made us choose them as our supplier apart from price which was very competitive, but the main one was the level of service and willingness to make the project work shown by Steve at every step. Plans were revised time and time again as we thought of new ideas and problems, but this was never a problem for him – he just patiently e-mailed through another quote! We were still changing the order days before delivery was due but this wasn’t a problem either.
Once the big day came his team of men arrived with a stream of 40-foot wagons unloading, unpacking and siting furniture. Steve was on site all the time ensuring everything was where it was meant to be and undamaged, anything he wasn’t happy with was returned to the factory without question.
As a result we have a very stylish and comfortable building, staff came in on day one and loved it – they all commented on how much space there was due to our detailed planning with Steve. Since delivery we have added to our order and from the Receptionist to the Accounts to the Sales Staff everyone we have come into contact with cannot do enough for us in terms of sorting our requests, answering our questions, resourcing products that we hadn’t thought of in the initial bid etc.
I can honestly say I am more than happy with the excellent service we have received from Richardsons and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering using their services, no job would be too big or too small to handle – they are consummate professionals.
